Located adjacent to the town of Rocanville just off Highway 8, this 9 hole 3000 yard course is a striking combination of lush watered fairways and large single, two and three-tiered grass greens. Mostly flat terrain with some un¬‚du¬‚lat¬‚ing fairways, Rocanville is a well manicured course that boasts many evergreens and poplars surrounded by heavy bushes, willows and marsh¬‚es. Stra¬‚te¬‚gi¬‚cal¬‚ly placed ev¬‚er¬‚greens add interest to your view, and extra obstacles to your shots. Even the most seasoned player will find the par four 5th hole a particular challenge. Its narrow tee off opens to a sloping hogsback that quickly curves to a dogleg right. Accuracy is re¬‚ward¬‚ed over dis¬‚tance here. Another challenge awaits at the 8th hole where the fairway rolls upwards, leaving only the flag visible. The signature 4th hole rises gently into a shelter of ev¬‚er¬‚greens and dense poplar, leading you over a bridge to the 5th tee.
