Golf Kenosee is situated in Moose Mountain Provincial Park, Saskatchewan’Äôs most visited park. It is no surprise then that this picturesque 18 hole course is one of the busiest in the province. Its popularity is due not only to its location, but also because of its quality of play. Cut from a healthy forest of poplar, ash, fir and white birch, Golf Kenosee’Äôs fairways are wonderfully sheltered with mature trees lining both sides of most of them. A premium is placed on straight, accurate shots. This is where the golfer’Äôs challenge lies, for Kenosee is rather short -- measuring only 5483 yards. The fairways are rolling and feature challenging elevation changes. The greens are elevated but unguarded by sandtraps. The best view of this pretty course is from the elevated 1st tee. From here golfers are afforded a great view of the fairways below and Kenosee Lake beyond. On good days it is said you can see for up to 35 miles. Moose Mountain Provincial Park has beaches, water slides, horseback riding, nature trails, a hotel, plus over 700 campsites -- a perfect vacation destination.
