Manitoba’Äôs Parkland region has surprised many visitors over the years with the beauty of its rolling terrain. Some of those visitors have also been lucky to discover another secret of the area -- a distinctive little course by the name of Roblin Golf & Country Club. Lying on gentle hills and surrounding a small lake a few kilometres north of town, this golf course offers a tempting blend of challenge and playability. Open in places, and thickly treed in others, you will have to adapt to a variety of playing conditions over its 9 holes. This is especially true on Roblin’Äôs last three holes where the lake becomes a major influence on play. Of the three, the 8th hole is probably the most difficult. With the lake neatly separating the tees from the green, any loss of nerve here can quickly lead to disaster. As part of its ongoing project to further improve the course, Roblin has added an extensive irrigation system to improve the condition of an already well-kept course.
