Oakview Golf & Country Club
This pleasant rural course has been around since 1953 and has been described as one of the best nine hole courses in the province. Set in a historic oak grove with a stream running through it, Oakview provides many interesting challenges to go along with its immaculate greens. Visitors who play Oakview rave about this hidden gem of a course located 9.5 kilometres south of Altona (just north of Gretna), and is an easy one hour drive from Winnipeg. From its championship tees it measures in at 3226 yards. The signature hole is the ninth, a challenging par three with a partial island green. A great finishing hole and the most beautiful hole on the course. Always in great condition, Oakview provides a beautiful yet challenging round of golf.
